Well, let me tell you about my experience with Bravecto and Bravecto Plus. I have two cats, both of which are prone to getting fleas. So, I decided to try out these two products to see which one worked best for them.
First, let’s talk about Bravecto spot-on. This is specifically for cats from 11 weeks of age and weighing at least 1.2kg. The great thing about Bravecto spot-on is that it not only kills the fleas that are currently on your cat at the time of treatment but also continues to kill any new fleas that land on them for a full 3 months. This means that you don’t have to worry about constantly reapplying the treatment every month.
On the other hand, we have Bravecto Plus. This is for cats from 9 weeks of age and weighing at least 1.2kg. The difference between Bravecto Plus and Bravecto spot-on is that Bravecto Plus not only kills fleas but also treats and prevents infestations of ticks and ear mites. So if your cat is prone to getting ticks or ear mites, Bravecto Plus may be the better option for you.
I personally found Bravecto Plus to be more effective for my cats. They tend to spend a lot of time outdoors and are more likely to come into contact with ticks and ear mites. Since using Bravecto Plus, I have noticed a significant decrease in the number of ticks I find on them and their ears have been much cleaner and healthier.
In terms of application, both products are easy to use. They come in a convenient spot-on applicator that you simply apply to the back of your cat’s neck. It’s important to follow the instructions carefully to ensure proper dosage and application.
Both Bravecto spot-on and Bravecto Plus are effective treatments for fleas, but if your cat also has issues with ticks and ear mites, I would recommend giving Bravecto Plus a try. It’s a great all-in-one solution that will keep your cat protected from multiple pests for a full 3 months.
