By default, every character in the game can have up to three charges of any type. Charges are temporary buffs that provide various bonuses to your character’s abilities. There are three types of charges: power charges, endurance charges, and frenzy charges.
Frenzy charges, in particular, are associated with increased attack speed and damage. They are commonly used by characters who rely on fast and aggressive playstyles, such as dual-wield melee fighters or bow-wielding rangers.
However, it is important to note that the number of frenzy charges you can have is not limited to just three. Through the skill tree, every class has the opportunity to increase their maximum number of frenzy charges by up to three. This means that, with proper investment in the skill tree, any character can potentially have a maximum of six frenzy charges.
Investing in the skill tree to increase your maximum number of frenzy charges can greatly enhance your character’s damage output and attack speed. It allows you to maintain a higher number of charges, thereby maximizing the benefits they provide.
Personally, I have played a dual-wield duelist build that heavily relied on frenzy charges. By investing in the skill tree to increase my maximum frenzy charges, I was able to maintain a high number of charges throughout battles, greatly increasing my attack speed and damage. This made my character incredibly fast and deadly in combat, allowing me to clear through hordes of enemies with ease.
While every character starts with a default maximum of three frenzy charges, it is possible to increase this maximum by up to three through the skill tree. This allows for a maximum of six frenzy charges, providing significant bonuses to attack speed and damage. Investing in frenzy charges can greatly enhance the effectiveness of characters who rely on fast and aggressive playstyles.
