To remove Messenger photos from both sides, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the Facebook Messenger app on your device.
2. Go to the conversation where you want to delete the shared photos.
3. Tap on the person’s name or the group name at the top of the conversation to open the settings menu.
4. In the settings menu, you will find an option called “Shared Photos.” Tap on it to access the shared photos section.
5. Here, you will see all the photos that have been shared in the conversation. You can scroll through the list to find the photos you want to delete.
6. To delete a single photo, tap on it to open it in full screen view. Then, tap on the trash bin icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Confirm your action by tapping “Delete” when prompted.
7. If you want to delete multiple photos at once, tap on the “Select” button at the top-right corner of the shared photos section. This will allow you to select multiple photos by tapping on them. Once you have selected all the photos you want to delete, tap on the trash bin icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen and confirm your action.
8. After deleting the photos, they will be removed from both your side and the recipient’s side of the conversation. However, please note that this will not delete the photos from your device’s gallery or the recipient’s device.
It’s important to note that deleting photos from the Messenger app will not delete them from your Facebook account or any other device or platform where they may have been shared. If you want to remove photos completely, you may need to delete them from your Facebook account or other platforms separately.
In my personal experience, I have found this method to be effective in removing shared photos from both sides of a Messenger conversation. It allows you to easily delete individual or multiple photos without any hassle. Just be cautious when deleting photos, as the action is irreversible and the photos cannot be recovered once deleted.
