You can easily turn off notifications on your Apple Watch without affecting the notifications on your iPhone. This can be done directly from your Apple Watch or through the Watch app on your iPhone.
To turn off notifications on your Apple Watch, you can follow these steps:
1. On your Apple Watch, swipe down from the watch face to access the Notification Center.
2. Once in the Notification Center, swipe up to scroll through your notifications.
3. When you find a notification you want to turn off, swipe left on it.
4. Tap on the “Manage” button that appears.
5. You will now see an option to “Turn Off” notifications for that specific app. Tap on it to disable notifications for that app on your Apple Watch.
Alternatively, you can also turn off notifications for all third-party apps directly on your Apple Watch by following these steps:
1. On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap on “Notifications”.
3. Here, you will see a list of all the apps installed on your Apple Watch.
4. Tap on the app for which you want to disable notifications.
5. Toggle off the “Allow Notifications” option.
If you prefer to make this change from your iPhone, you can do so using the Watch app. Here’s how:
1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Tap on the “My Watch” tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap on “Notifications”.
4. You will see a list of apps under the “Mirror iPhone Alerts From” section.
5. To disable notifications for a specific app on your Apple Watch, simply toggle off the switch next to it.
By following these steps, you can easily turn off notifications for specific apps or for all third-party apps on your Apple Watch. This allows you to have more control over the notifications you receive on your wrist while still receiving them on your iPhone.
Personally, I find this feature very useful as it allows me to filter out unnecessary notifications and only receive the ones that are important to me on my Apple Watch. This way, I can avoid distractions and stay focused when I’m wearing my Watch, while still being able to stay connected and receive notifications on my iPhone.
