To remove the Wireless Network Utility from your Mac, follow these steps:
1. Go to the “Applications” folder on your Mac. You can access it by clicking on the Finder icon in your dock and selecting “Applications” from the sidebar.
2. Look for the “Wireless Network Utility” application in the Applications folder. It might be listed as “WirelessUtility.app” or something similar.
3. Once you locate the Wireless Network Utility, click and hold on its icon.
4. Drag the Wireless Network Utility icon to the Trash bin on your dock. Alternatively, you can also right-click on the icon and select “Move to Trash” from the contextual menu.
5. After moving the Wireless Network Utility to the Trash, you will need to empty the Trash to completely remove it. To do this, right-click on the Trash bin icon on your dock and select “Empty Trash” from the menu. Alternatively, you can click on the Trash icon and then click on the “Empty” button in the upper-right corner of the Finder window.
6. You may be prompted to enter your administrator password to confirm the deletion. If so, enter your password and click “OK” to proceed.
7. Once you have emptied the Trash, the Wireless Network Utility should be completely removed from your Mac.
Note: Removing the Wireless Network Utility will not affect your Mac’s ability to connect to Wi-Fi networks. Your Mac has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, and removing the utility will not disable this functionality. If you encounter any issues with connecting to Wi-Fi networks after removing the utility, you can still manage your wireless connections through the System Preferences.
