Who ends up with Fuutarou?

Answered by Robert Flynn

After five long years, I finally tied the knot with Yotsuba, the girl who had captured my heart from the very beginning. Our wedding was a joyous occasion, filled with laughter and love. As we settled into our married life, Yotsuba decided to share a secret with me, one that made my heart race and my face flush with embarrassment.

One evening, as we sat together on the couch, Yotsuba looked at me with a mischievous smile and said, “You know, Fuutarou, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you. Do you remember that day under the bell tower, five years ago?”

My mind immediately flashed back to that fateful day. We were all high school students back then, and Yotsuba had organized a trip to the nearby temple. It was a beautiful spring day, and as we stood under the bell tower, Yotsuba had pulled me aside, her eyes shining with excitement.

“I have something to tell you,” she had whispered, her voice barely audible amidst the buzzing of the cicadas. And before I could comprehend what was happening, she had pressed her lips against mine in a sweet, innocent kiss.

At that moment, I was taken aback by her boldness. I had always seen Yotsuba as a cheerful and supportive friend, someone who was always there for me. I never once considered her as anything more than that. But that kiss, under the bell tower, had left a lasting impact on both of us.

Now, years later, Yotsuba was bringing up that long-buried memory. My cheeks turned crimson as I stammered, “Y-yes, I remember. It was a surprise, to say the least.”

Yotsuba giggled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “I couldn’t help myself, Fuutarou. You were always so focused on studying and helping us out. I wanted to show you how much I cared.”

In that moment, I realized just how much Yotsuba had loved me all those years ago. She had kept her feelings hidden, always putting our friendship first. And now, as we stood together as husband and wife, her confession filled me with warmth and gratitude.

“I’m sorry if I never noticed your feelings back then,” I said softly, reaching out to hold her hand. “But now, I promise to make up for it. I love you, Yotsuba, and I’m grateful for every moment we’ve shared.”

Yotsuba’s eyes filled with tears of happiness as she squeezed my hand tightly. “I love you too, Fuutarou. And I wouldn’t change a thing about our journey together. The bell tower kiss was just the beginning.”

As we sat there, enveloped in each other’s love, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of contentment. Yotsuba had always been the one for me, even if it took us years to realize it. Our journey to this point had been filled with ups and downs, but in the end, we had found our way to each other.

And so, as we embarked on this new chapter of our lives, I knew that Yotsuba was the one who would always hold my heart. Our love story was just beginning, and I couldn’t wait to see what the future held for us.
