Where is the AirPlay icon?

Answered by Antonio Sutton

The AirPlay icon is located in the Control Center on your Mac. To access it, simply click on the Control Center icon, which is located on the right side of the top menu bar. The Control Center icon looks like two vertical toggles stacked on top of each other.

Once you click on the Control Center icon, a menu will appear. Look for the option labeled “Screen Mirroring” in the Control Center menu. This is where you will find the AirPlay icon.

Clicking on the “Screen Mirroring” option will open a submenu that displays a list of available AirPlay devices. These devices can include Apple TVs, smart TVs, and other devices that support AirPlay.

If you have multiple AirPlay devices in your network, you will see a list of them in the submenu. Simply select the device you want to connect to, and your Mac will start mirroring its screen to that device.

It’s important to note that in order to use AirPlay, the device you want to connect to must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. Additionally, the device must also be compatible with AirPlay.

Finding the AirPlay icon on your Mac is quite simple. Just click on the Control Center icon on the top menu bar, select “Screen Mirroring,” and choose the desired AirPlay device from the submenu.
