Sagamore Spirits is proudly made in Baltimore, Maryland. Our distillery is located on Baltimore’s waterfront, and we have been producing and aging our proprietary straight rye whiskey here since April 2017.

Our commitment to quality is reflected in every step of our production process. We start with the finest ingredients, carefully selecting the grains that go into our rye whiskey. We then mill and mash the grains, ferment the mash, and distill it in our state-of-the-art copper stills.
After distillation, our whiskey is aged in charred white oak barrels. We take pride in the aging process and believe that time is crucial in creating a smooth and flavorful whiskey. The barrels are stored in our rickhouse, where they are exposed to the natural elements and temperature fluctuations that contribute to the maturation process.
During the aging period, our whiskey develops its distinct flavor profile, characterized by its rich and spicy notes. We pay close attention to the maturation process, regularly monitoring and tasting the barrels to ensure that our whiskey achieves the desired flavor profile.
