Her political involvement included participating in the Battle of Jamal, a conflict that arose after the assassination of the third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan. Aisha led an army against the caliph Ali ibn Abi Talib but ultimately lost the battle.
After the Battle of Jamal, Aisha withdrew from active political involvement and focused more on teaching and spreading knowledge. She continued to educate and inspire others, both men and women, through her teachings and lectures.
Aisha’s influence extended beyond her lifetime. Many scholars and students sought her teachings and guidance even after her death. Her contributions to Islamic scholarship remain highly regarded and continue to shape the understanding of Islam to this day.
