There is a blur tool available in Apple Photos. The blur tool in Apple Photos allows you to selectively blur certain parts of an image to draw attention to specific areas or create a more artistic effect. It can be quite useful for enhancing your photos and making them more visually appealing.
To access the blur tool in Apple Photos, follow these steps:
1. Open the Photos app on your Apple device.
2. Select the photo you want to edit.
3. Tap on the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the screen.
4. At the bottom of the editing interface, you’ll find a series of icons. Tap on the three dots (more) icon.
5. From the menu that appears, choose “Markup.”
6. In the Markup interface, tap on the “+” icon at the bottom right corner.
7. A list of tools will appear. Select “Blur” from the options.
Once you’ve selected the blur tool, you can start blurring parts of your photo. You have two options for blurring: Gaussian Blur and Pixelate.
The Gaussian Blur option creates a smooth, subtle blurring effect. You can adjust the intensity of the blur by using the slider that appears at the bottom of the screen. Simply drag the slider to the right to increase the blur or to the left to decrease it. You can also adjust the size of the blur brush by using the size slider at the bottom.
The Pixelate option, on the other hand, creates a more blocky, pixelated blur effect. This can be useful if you want to completely obscure a specific area of the photo. Like with Gaussian Blur, you can adjust the intensity and size of the blur brush using the sliders.
To apply the blur, simply use your finger or an Apple Pencil to brush over the areas you want to blur. You can zoom in and out of the photo for more precise editing.
If you make a mistake or want to remove a blur effect, you can use the eraser tool in the Markup interface. This allows you to selectively remove blurs from specific areas of the photo.
The blur tool in Apple Photos is a handy feature for enhancing your photos and adding artistic effects. It gives you the ability to control the focus and attention within your images, making them more visually appealing and captivating.
