How many people are still playing Valheim?

I’ve been playing Valheim since its early access release in February 2021, and I have to say, it’s been a wild ride. The game quickly gained popularity and became one of Steam’s most played games. It’s no surprise considering its unique blend of exploration and survival mechanics.

As of November 2022, Valheim is still going strong with a dedicated player base. In fact, after a major patch release, the game saw a peak concurrent player count of 62 thousand. That’s quite impressive for a game that’s been out for almost two years.

The fact that Valheim continues to attract players speaks to its addictive gameplay and engaging world. The game offers a vast and procedurally generated world for players to explore, filled with dangerous creatures, challenging biomes, and hidden treasures. It’s a game that encourages exploration and discovery, and it’s easy to get lost in its immersive world.

What sets Valheim apart from other survival games is its emphasis on cooperative multiplayer. The game allows you to team up with friends and tackle challenges together, whether it’s building a base, defeating powerful bosses, or venturing into dangerous dungeons. The multiplayer aspect adds an extra layer of fun and camaraderie to the game, making it a popular choice for gaming communities and friends looking for a shared gaming experience.

Personally, I’ve had some incredible moments playing Valheim with friends. From building massive fortresses to taking down towering bosses, the game has provided countless hours of entertainment and memorable experiences. It’s a game that keeps drawing me back in, even after playing for months.

Valheim is still very much alive and kicking. With its dedicated player base and regular updates from the developers, the game shows no signs of slowing down. If you’re looking for an immersive and cooperative survival experience, I highly recommend giving Valheim a try.
