How do you send a friend request on a locked profile?

Answered by Douglas Hiatt

To send a friend request on a locked profile, you can follow these steps:

1. Open your laptop or desktop computer and navigate to the Locked Profile you want to send a friend request to.

2. Right-click on the profile picture of the Locked Profile. This will open a context menu with various options.

3. From the context menu, select “Copy Image Address.” This will copy the URL of the profile picture to your computer’s clipboard.

4. Open a new window or tab in your web browser. You can do this by clicking on the “+” symbol or using the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + T” (Windows) or “Command + T” (Mac).

5. In the new browser window, paste the URL of the profile picture that you copied earlier into the address bar. You can do this by right-clicking in the address bar and selecting “Paste” or using the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + V” (Windows) or “Command + V” (Mac).

6. Press the “Enter” key or click the “Go” button to load the profile picture in the browser.

7. Once the profile picture is loaded, you will be able to see the Locked Profile’s full profile. Look for the “Add Friend” or “Send Friend Request” button on the profile page.

8. Click on the “Add Friend” or “Send Friend Request” button to send the friend request to the Locked Profile.

9. Depending on the privacy settings of the Locked Profile, the friend request may or may not be immediately accepted. If the profile owner has set their privacy settings to manually approve friend requests, they will need to review and accept your request before you become friends.

10. That’s it! You have now sent a friend request to a Locked Profile. The profile owner will be notified of your request and can choose to accept or decline it.

It’s important to note that sending friend requests to locked profiles does not guarantee acceptance, as the profile owner has control over who they want to be friends with. Additionally, it’s always a good idea to respect people’s privacy and only send friend requests to those you know or have a genuine interest in connecting with.
