How do you record on an iPhone XR?

Answered by Tom Adger

To record a video on an iPhone XR, follow these steps:

1. Open the Camera app on your iPhone XR. You can find the Camera app on your home screen or in the Control Center.

2. Swipe the screen to the right to switch to the video recording mode. You will see different options like Time-Lapse, Slo-Mo, Video, Photo, and Portrait. Tap on the “Video” option.

3. Once you are in video mode, you will see a red Record icon at the bottom center of the screen. Tap on this icon to start recording your video.

4. While recording the video, you can also take photos by tapping on the Circle icon that appears next to the Record icon. This allows you to capture a photo while the video is being recorded.

5. To stop recording, tap on the Stop icon, which is located next to the Record icon. This will end the video recording.

6. After you finish recording, the thumbnail of the recorded video will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap on it to view your video.

7. To play the recorded video, tap on the Play icon, which is located at the bottom left corner of the screen. You can pause, rewind, or forward the video using the on-screen controls.

8. By default, all videos recorded on the iPhone XR are saved in the Photos app. You can access the Photos app by tapping on the Photos icon on your home screen. In the Photos app, your recorded videos will be saved in the “Videos” album.

That’s it! You have successfully recorded a video on your iPhone XR. Enjoy capturing great moments with your device.

Please note that the steps mentioned above are specifically for the iPhone XR running on iOS 14. The process might be slightly different on different iPhone models or iOS versions, but the general concept remains the same.
