To insert special shapes in Google Docs, you can follow these steps:

1. Open your Google Docs document and go to the page where you want to add the shape.

2. Click on the “Insert” tab located in the menu at the top.

3. From the dropdown menu, click on “Drawing.” This will open the Google Docs drawing tool.

4. In the drawing tool, click on the “New” button to create a new drawing.

5. On the left-hand side of the drawing tool, you will see a toolbar with various options. Look for the “Shapes” icon, which is represented by a circle half-covering a square, and click on it.

6. A dropdown menu will appear, displaying different types of shapes you can choose from. Select the shape you want to insert by clicking on it.

7. After selecting the shape, your cursor will turn into a crosshair. Click and drag on the drawing canvas to create the shape. You can adjust the size and position of the shape by clicking and dragging its edges or corners.

8. If you want to customize the shape further, you can right-click on it and choose options like “Fill color,” “Border color,” and “Line weight” from the context menu.

9. Additionally, you can add text to the shape by right-clicking on it, selecting “Add text,” and typing your desired text inside the shape.

10. Once you are satisfied with the shape and any additional modifications, click on the “Save and close” button located at the top right corner of the drawing tool.

11. The shape will now be inserted into your Google Docs document at the position where you created it in the drawing tool.

By following these steps, you can easily insert special shapes into your Google Docs document.
