To log out of everything on your iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Settings app on your device. You can find it on your home screen with the gear icon.
2. Once in Settings, scroll down and tap on your name or Apple ID at the top of the screen. This will open your Apple ID settings.
3. On the Apple ID page, scroll to the bottom and you will see a “Sign Out” option. Tap on it.
4. You will be prompted to enter your Apple ID password. This is for security purposes to ensure that only you can sign out of your account. Enter your password and tap “Turn Off” to proceed.
5. After entering your password, you will see a list of data that you can choose to keep a copy of on your device. This includes contacts, calendars, reminders, and more. Toggle the switch next to each item to select the data you want to keep. If you don’t want to keep any data, you can toggle off all the switches.
6. Once you have selected the data you want to keep, tap “Sign Out” at the top right corner of the screen.
7. A confirmation message will appear asking if you want to sign out of iCloud. Tap “Sign Out” again to confirm.
8. Your device will now sign out of your Apple ID and iCloud account. This means that you will no longer have access to iCloud services such as iCloud Drive, iCloud Photos, and Find My iPhone. Additionally, you will be signed out of any other apps or services that use your Apple ID for authentication.
It’s important to note that signing out of your Apple ID will not delete any data from your device. Your apps, photos, and other personal data will still be on your iPhone. However, you will no longer be able to access certain features or services that require an active Apple ID.
If you decide to sign back in to your Apple ID later, you can do so by going to the Settings app and tapping on “Sign in to your iPhone” at the top of the screen.
