How do I Delete a draft from my iPad?

Answered by Randy McIntyre

To delete a draft from your iPad, the process is actually quite simple. Here’s how you can do it:

1. First, open the Mail app on your iPad. You can find the Mail app on your home screen, usually represented by a white envelope icon.

2. Once you have the Mail app open, navigate to the Drafts folder. To do this, tap on the “Mailboxes” button located at the top left corner of the screen. This will bring up a list of your different mailboxes.

3. Scroll down the list of mailboxes until you find the “Drafts” folder. Tap on it to open the folder and view all your saved drafts.

4. Now, you should see a list of all your draft messages. To delete a specific draft, simply swipe left on the draft message you want to delete. This action will reveal a red “Delete” button.

5. Tap on the “Delete” button to remove the draft from your iPad. Please note that once you delete a draft, it cannot be recovered, so make sure you don’t need it anymore before proceeding.

Alternatively, if you prefer a different method, you can also open the draft message you want to delete by tapping on it. Once the draft is open, you should see an icon with three dots in the top right corner of the screen. Tap on this icon to bring up a menu of options.

From the menu, select the “Delete Draft” option to remove the draft from your iPad. Again, please remember that this action is permanent, so double-check before confirming the deletion.

That’s it! You have successfully deleted a draft from your iPad. Repeat these steps for any other drafts you want to remove.
