How do I crop a PDF image?

Answered by Michael Wilson

To crop a PDF image, you can use the “Edit PDF” feature in Adobe Acrobat. First, open the PDF file you want to edit. Then, go to the “Tools” menu and select “Edit PDF.” Alternatively, you can find the “Edit PDF” option in the right pane of the program.

Once you have accessed the “Edit PDF” feature, a secondary toolbar will appear. In this toolbar, you will see various editing options, including “Crop Pages.” Click on “Crop Pages” to start cropping the desired page.

After selecting “Crop Pages,” your cursor will turn into a crosshair. Move the crosshair to the page you want to crop and click and drag to create a rectangle. This rectangle represents the area you want to keep in the cropped image.

If necessary, you can adjust the size and position of the cropping rectangle by dragging its corner handles. This allows you to fine-tune the crop and ensure that the page is the size you want.

Once you are satisfied with the cropping rectangle, click outside of the rectangle to apply the crop. The rest of the page outside the cropping rectangle will be removed, leaving you with the cropped image.

Remember to save your changes after cropping the PDF image. You can do this by clicking on the “File” menu and selecting “Save” or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S (or Command+S on a Mac).

By following these steps, you can easily crop a PDF image using Adobe Acrobat’s “Edit PDF” feature.
