To connect your Bose Acoustimass to your receiver, follow these steps:
1. Start by locating the INPUT FROM AMP OR RECEIVER terminals on the Acoustimass bass module. These terminals are usually marked as LEFT and RIGHT.
2. Take the end of your speaker cable and connect it to the terminal marked RIGHT on the Acoustimass bass module. Make sure the cable is securely plugged in.
3. Now, locate the RIGHT FRONT SPEAKER terminals on your receiver. These terminals are where you will connect the other end of the speaker cable.
4. Take the other end of the speaker cable and connect it to the RIGHT FRONT SPEAKER terminals on your receiver. Again, ensure a secure connection.
5. Repeat the above steps for the LEFT channel if you have a stereo setup. Connect the speaker cable to the LEFT terminal on the Acoustimass bass module and the LEFT FRONT SPEAKER terminals on your receiver.
6. Once you have connected the speaker cables to both the Acoustimass bass module and your receiver, double-check that all connections are tight and secure.
7. If your receiver has a dedicated subwoofer output, you can also connect an additional cable from the subwoofer output to the LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) input on the Acoustimass bass module. This will allow for a more dedicated subwoofer signal.
8. If your receiver does not have a dedicated subwoofer output, you can still connect the Acoustimass bass module using the speaker terminals as described above. The Acoustimass module will then receive the low-frequency signals from the front speakers and reproduce them.
9. power on your receiver and ensure that the Acoustimass bass module is receiving a signal. You may need to adjust the speaker settings on your receiver to enable the subwoofer output or adjust the crossover frequency.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully connect your Bose Acoustimass bass module to your receiver and enjoy enhanced audio performance.
