To change the app icon on your Home screen, follow these steps:
1. Find the app icon you want to customize on your Home screen. Touch and hold the icon until all the icons start to jiggle and a small “X” appears on the top left corner of the icons.
2. Release your finger from the icon, and a menu will appear with options to edit or delete the app. Tap on the edit icon, which usually looks like a pencil or a gear.
3. Once you tap the edit icon, a new menu will appear with different options for customizing the app. Look for the option to change the app icon and tap on it.
4. Depending on your device and the version of the operating system you are using, you may have different options for changing the app icon. Some devices offer a selection of pre-designed icons, while others allow you to choose a custom image from your photo library.
5. If your device provides pre-designed icons, you will see a list of available themes or icon designs to choose from. Tap on the design you like the most, and you can also adjust the size of the icon if desired. Once you have made your selections, tap OK to confirm the changes.
6. If your device allows you to choose a custom image, you can browse your photo library or take a new photo to use as the app icon. Select the image you want to use and adjust the size if necessary. Once you are satisfied with the selection, tap OK to save the changes.
7. After making your desired changes, exit the editing mode by pressing the Home button or swiping up from the bottom of the screen (depending on your device). The app icon should now be updated with the new design or image you selected.
Remember, not all devices or operating systems offer the same level of customization for app icons. If you don’t see the option to change the app icon on your device, it may not be supported. Additionally, some apps may not allow their icons to be changed at all.
