Adding plugins to Discord mobile is slightly different from adding them to the desktop version. However, with a few simple steps, you can easily install plugins on your Discord mobile app.
To begin, open your Discord mobile app and navigate to the user settings menu. You can find this by tapping on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the screen. Once you have opened the user settings menu, scroll down until you see the “Plugins” option.
If you’re having trouble finding the Plugins option, don’t worry. Simply tap on the “Plugins” tab, and it will take you directly to the plugins section of your user settings.
Next, you will see an option titled “Open Plugin Folder.” This option allows you to access the plugin folder on your mobile device. Tap on it, and a new window will open.
In this new window, you will see the plugin folder for Discord. To add your desired plugins, you need to copy and paste the plugin files into this folder. To do this, you can either download the plugin files directly on your mobile device or transfer them from your computer or another device.
If you have downloaded the plugin files on your mobile device, locate the downloaded files using a file manager app. Once you have found the files, long-press on them to select them, then tap on the “Copy” option.
Now, go back to the plugin folder window that you opened earlier and long-press inside the folder. This will bring up the paste option. Tap on “Paste,” and the plugin files will be copied into the Discord plugin folder.
If you have transferred the plugin files from another device, make sure the files are stored in a location that is accessible from your mobile device. Connect your mobile device to your computer, and navigate to the location where the plugin files are stored. Copy the plugin files, then go back to the plugin folder window on your mobile device and paste them into the folder.
Once you have successfully copied the plugin files into the Discord plugin folder, close the plugin folder window and return to the Discord mobile app. The newly added plugins should now be available for use.
It’s important to note that not all plugins are supported on Discord mobile. Some plugins may only be compatible with the desktop version of Discord. Therefore, it’s a good idea to check the compatibility of the plugins before adding them to your mobile app.
Adding plugins to Discord mobile involves accessing the plugin folder through the user settings menu, copying and pasting the plugin files into the folder, and ensuring their compatibility with the mobile app. By following these steps, you can enhance your Discord mobile experience with various plugins and customize the app to your liking.
