Does AirPods 1 support Siri?

Answered by Phillip Nicastro

AirPods 1 do support Siri! I personally love using Siri with my AirPods as it allows me to easily access information, control my apps, and perform various tasks without having to take out my phone.

To activate Siri with AirPods 1, simply double-tap on either of the AirPods. You can customize this gesture in your iPhone settings if you prefer a different action. Once Siri is activated, you will hear a beep indicating that Siri is ready to assist you.

Having Siri on my AirPods has been incredibly convenient in many situations. For example, when I’m walking or running, I can simply tap on my AirPods to ask Siri to change the song, adjust the volume, or even ask for directions without having to stop or look at my phone.

One of the things I really appreciate about using Siri with AirPods is the ability to ask questions and get instant answers. Whether it’s checking the weather, getting sports scores, or even asking for general knowledge, Siri always comes through with the information I need. It’s like having a personal assistant right in my ear!

Another useful feature is the ability to control my apps hands-free. For example, I can ask Siri to send a message, make a phone call, or even set a reminder while I’m on the go. It’s especially helpful when I’m driving and need to keep my hands on the wheel and my eyes on the road.

In addition to these everyday tasks, Siri with AirPods also supports various third-party apps. For example, I can ask Siri to order an Uber, send a payment with Venmo, or even start a workout with my favorite fitness app. The integration with different apps makes Siri on AirPods even more versatile and powerful.

I find Siri on AirPods 1 to be a fantastic feature that enhances my overall experience with these wireless earbuds. Being able to access Siri hands-free and without needing to take out my phone has made my daily activities more efficient and convenient. Whether I’m listening to music, making a phone call, or just need some quick information, Siri on AirPods 1 has got me covered.
