You can definitely ship items in your Amazon cart to different addresses using the Amazon app. I recently had the opportunity to use this feature, and it made sending gifts to multiple recipients a breeze.
To get started, I added all the items I wanted to purchase to my Amazon cart. Once I was ready to proceed with the checkout process, I selected the “Proceed to Checkout” option.
On the next page, I was prompted to review my order details, including the items in my cart. At this point, I noticed a new option called “Ship to multiple addresses.” Naturally, I selected this option since I wanted to send the items to different addresses.
After selecting the “Ship to multiple addresses” option, I was presented with a list of the items in my cart. For each item, I had the option to choose a different shipping address. It was as simple as clicking on the “Change” button next to the address and selecting a new address from my address book or entering a new one.
Once I had assigned the appropriate addresses to each item, I proceeded to the next step, which was selecting the shipping options for each address. I had the option to choose between Amazon’s standard shipping or expedited shipping for each address. This allowed me to customize the delivery speed for each recipient.
After finalizing the shipping options, I continued with the checkout process as usual. I was prompted to provide payment information, select a shipping address for my own items (if any), and review the order summary.
Once I confirmed all the details, I placed the order. Amazon then processed each item separately, applying the appropriate shipping address and shipping method for each. It was incredibly convenient to have all the items shipped to their respective recipients without having to place multiple orders or go through the hassle of coordinating shipping addresses manually.
The process of shipping items to different addresses on the Amazon app was straightforward and user-friendly. It saved me time and effort, and I highly recommend using this feature if you need to send items to multiple addresses.
