You can permanently block a phone number on an iPhone. Blocking a number ensures that you won’t receive any calls, messages, or FaceTime requests from that specific contact. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Open the Phone app on your iPhone.
2. Go to the Recents tab, which shows your call history.
3. Find the phone number or contact that you want to block. You can scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top to quickly find the contact.
4. Once you locate the contact, tap on the “i” button next to it. This will take you to the contact information page.
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap on the “Block This Caller” option.
6. A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you want to block the contact. Confirm your choice by selecting “Block Contact.”
