You can do a Split Screen in iMovie. To begin, launch the iMovie app on your device and start a new project. Once you are in the project, you will see a Timeline at the bottom of the screen. This is where you will add and arrange your video clips.
To add the first video clip, tap on the “plus” button on the left side of the Timeline. This will open up your device’s media library, where you can select the video clip you want to add. Once you have chosen the video clip, it will appear in the Timeline.
Next, click on the “plus” button again to add another video clip. Choose the second video clip you want to include in the Split Screen. This second video clip will also appear in the Timeline, right after the first one.
Now, to create the Split Screen effect, tap on the three-dot More icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen. This will open a drop-down menu with various options. From this menu, select the “Split Screen” option.
Once you have selected the Split Screen option, iMovie will automatically apply the effect to your video clips. You will now see the two video clips playing side by side in the Preview pane.
You can customize the Split Screen effect by tapping on the Split Screen clip in the Timeline. This will bring up additional options, such as adjusting the size and position of each video clip within the split screen. You can also change the duration of the Split Screen effect by dragging the edges of the clip in the Timeline.
