End Crystals are a powerful item found in the world of Minecraft. They can be used to spawn powerful mobs, heal the player, and even to create a respawn point. Crafting them is no easy task, but fortunately, with a few simple steps and some necessary materials, you can make your own End Crystal! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Blaze Rods – These items can be found in Nether Fortresses by killing Blazes or by entering Bastion Remnants. Alternatively, you can also find them inside chests located in Strongholds.
- Ender Pearls – Ender Pearls are dropped by Endermen when they’re killed or by entering End Ships.
- Obsidian – Obsidian can be mined using an Iron Pickaxe or better from any Nether Fortress or Bastion Remnant. It’s also available from chests located in Strongholds.
- Glass – Glass can be crafted using sand and furnace at a 2:1 ratio.
- Stick – Sticks are easily crafted using two wooden planks at a 1:1 ratio.
Once you have all the necessary materials gathered up, it’s time to start crafting your very own End Crystal! Start off by placing two obsidian blocks on top of each other in the shape of an “X”. Then place one blaze rod in the middle of the obsidian blocks and surround it with eight ender pearls, as shown in this diagram:

X O O X Where “O” is obsidian block, “B” is blaze rod and “P” is ender pearl respectively. Once done, you will see an End Crystal appear atop the blaze rod! Now all that’s left to do is to encase it with glass blocks so that it won’t move around. To do this simply surround the crystal with glass blocks and then use a stick on it to collect it into your inventory! Congratulations! You now have an End Crystal ready for use whenever you need it!
