To share your story on Instagram, follow these steps:
1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device and log in to your account.
2. At the top left corner of the home screen, you will see your profile picture with a “+” sign. Tap on it to create a new story.
3. You can take a photo or video using the camera on your device by tapping the shutter button. Alternatively, you can swipe up to access your camera roll and choose a photo or video from there.
4. Once you have selected or captured the content for your story, you can customize it by adding text, filters, stickers, or drawings. To add text, tap the “Aa” icon at the top right corner. To apply filters, swipe left or right on the screen. To add stickers or drawings, tap on the icons at the top of the screen.
5. After editing your story, you can choose to share it with specific friends or groups by tapping on the “Send To” button at the bottom right corner of the screen. You can select individual friends, create a group, or share it with your close friends list. You can also choose to share it with all your followers by tapping “Your Story.”
6. If you want to share a story that you have been tagged in, you will receive a notification. To share it to your own story, tap on the tagging notification and select “Add to Your Story.” You can then customize the story as mentioned in step 4 and share it with your followers.
7. Once you have made all the desired edits and chosen the audience, tap on the “Send” button (represented by an airplane icon) at the bottom of the screen to share your story.
Remember, Instagram stories last for 24 hours, and after that, they disappear unless you save them to your highlights. You can also choose to delete your story before the 24-hour period ends by tapping on the three dots at the bottom right corner of your story and selecting “Delete.”
