Who owns Bison beer?

Answered by Antonio Sutton

Bison Beer was started by two friends, Jack Cregan and Nick Vardy. They both had a passion for craft beer and saw a gap in the market for a dedicated craft beer shop in their hometown of Brighton. They wanted to create a space where people could come and discover new and exciting beers, as well as learn about the brewing process.

Jack and Nick started the business in 2015, initially running a pop-up shop in various locations around Brighton. They would set up their stall at local markets and events, showcasing a carefully curated selection of craft beers from around the world. The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive, and they quickly gained a loyal following.

Encouraged by the success of their pop-up shop, Jack and Nick decided to take the next step and open a permanent brick-and-mortar store. They found a location in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine district, a vibrant and eclectic area known for its independent shops and cafes.

The shop opened its doors in 2016, and since then, Bison Beer has become a go-to destination for beer enthusiasts in Brighton. Jack and Nick have continued to expand their range of beers, always on the lookout for new and interesting brews to bring to their customers.

In addition to the retail side of the business, Bison Beer also offers a range of home brew kits, allowing customers to try their hand at brewing their own beer. Jack and Nick are passionate about spreading the love of craft beer and empowering people to create their own unique brews.

Together, Jack and Nick have built Bison Beer into a thriving business that not only provides a wide selection of craft beers but also fosters a sense of community and knowledge-sharing among beer lovers in Brighton. They are dedicated to supporting local breweries and showcasing the best of what the craft beer world has to offer.
