Where is the video editor on iPhone?

Answered by Frank Schwing

To find the video editor on your iPhone, you can open the Photos app. This app is usually located on your home screen, and it has a multicolored flower icon.

Once you open the Photos app, you can navigate to the video that you want to edit. You can do this by selecting the “Albums” tab at the bottom of the screen and then choosing the album where your video is stored. Alternatively, you can select the “Photos” tab to view all your media in chronological order.

Once you have found the video you want to edit, tap on it to open it in full screen mode. At the bottom of the screen, you will see various options, including “Edit.” Tap on the “Edit” button to access the video editor.

When you enter the video editor, you will see a timeline at the bottom of the screen. This timeline represents the duration of your video. To trim the start and stop times of the video, you can move the sliders on both sides of the timeline.

To trim the beginning of the video, drag the left slider towards the right until you reach the desired starting point. Similarly, to trim the end of the video, drag the right slider towards the left until you reach the desired endpoint.

As you adjust the sliders, the video preview will update accordingly. You can tap the play button in the bottom left corner to preview your trimmed video and make sure it looks as you intended.

Once you are satisfied with the trimming, you can tap the “Done” button at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will save your edits and exit the video editor.

It’s worth noting that the video editor in the Photos app offers basic editing capabilities such as trimming, but if you’re looking for more advanced editing features, you may want to explore third-party video editing apps available on the App Store.

The video editor on iPhone allows you to easily trim the start and stop times of your videos, and it can be accessed through the Photos app.
