To find your saved passwords in Windows 10, follow these steps:
1. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type “inetcpl.cpl” (without quotes) into the Run box and press Enter or click OK. This will open the Internet Properties window.
3. In the Internet Properties window, go to the Content tab.
4. Under the AutoComplete section, click on the Settings button.
5. This will open the AutoComplete Settings window. Here, click on the Manage Passwords button.
6. A new window called Credential Manager will open, displaying your saved passwords.
In Credential Manager, you will see two sections: Web Credentials and Windows Credentials.
– Web Credentials: This section contains passwords saved for various websites and online services. You can click on the arrow next to a website’s name to expand and view the username and password associated with it. You can also remove saved passwords by clicking on the corresponding website and selecting Remove.
– Windows Credentials: This section contains passwords and other login information related to your Windows system, such as network credentials. You can expand each entry to view the details and remove them if needed.
It’s important to note that the passwords displayed in Credential Manager are masked for security reasons. However, you can click on the “Show” button next to a password field to reveal the actual password.
Additionally, if you’re using a Microsoft account to sign in to Windows 10, you can also view your saved passwords by visiting the Microsoft account website. From there, you can access your account settings and manage your saved passwords.
Remember to always keep your saved passwords secure and consider using a password manager for added convenience and protection.
