Juice WRLD, born Jarad Anthony Higgins, was an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He was one of the most successful and influential hip-hop artists of all time. His career spanned just three years but his impact was felt around the world.

Born in Chicago, IL in 1998, he began rapping at a young age and released his debut project on SoundCloud in 2015. Over the next few years he released multiple mixtapes and singles that gained him attention from major labels. He eventually signed with Interscope Records in 2018.

His debut studio album Goodbye & Good Riddance peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned two hit singles “Lucid Dreams” and “All Girls Are the Same” which both went platinum. Juice WRLD continued to release music throughout his career including his second studio album Death Race for Love which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2019.

The success of Juice WRLD’s first two albums earned him numerous awards including four Billboard Music Awards including Top Rap Album for Death Race for Love and Top Streaming Song for “Lucid Dreams” as well as two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Lucid Dreams”

In addition to his music career, Juice WRLD also became known for his philanthropic works. He established The 999 Foundation which aims to provide resources to mental health services and programs while also engaging with youth through music education initiatives.

Sadly, Juice WRLD passed away unexpectedly at 21 due to a drug overdose in December 2019. His legacy lives on through his music which continues to inspire millions of people around the world.
