Is Riot Venom’s son?

Answered by Robert Dupre

Riot is not Venom’s son in the comics. In fact, Riot is one of the offspring of Venom created by the Life Foundation. The Life Foundation is an organization that seeks to prepare for the impending apocalypse by establishing a new society in outer space.

In the comics, the Life Foundation manages to capture Venom and extract five symbiote samples from him. These samples are then used to create five new symbiotes, one of which is Riot. Each symbiote is bonded with a human host to provide security for the Life Foundation.

Riot initially bonds with a security guard named Trevor Cole. Together, they become a formidable adversary for both Venom and Spider-Man. Riot possesses all the abilities and powers of a typical symbiote, such as superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to shape-shift its limbs into various weapons.

Throughout the comics, Riot and the other symbiotes created by the Life Foundation clash with Venom and Spider-Man multiple times. They engage in intense battles, showcasing their unique abilities and strategies.

It is important to note that the relationship between Riot and Venom is not that of a father and son. Instead, Riot is more like a sibling or offspring of Venom, as they share a common origin as creations of the Life Foundation.

Riot is a distinct character within the Marvel comics and is not directly related to Venom in terms of familial ties. However, their shared origin and connection through the Life Foundation make them formidable adversaries for each other.
