Is Adobe Reader no longer free?

Answered by James Kissner

As of my knowledge, Adobe Reader is still available for free. However, there are two versions of Adobe Reader that you can choose from: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a web-based reader that allows you to view, print, and comment on PDF documents. It is the latest version of Adobe Reader and offers additional features such as the ability to fill out and sign PDF forms, collaborate on documents, and access documents from multiple devices. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is available for free download from the Adobe website.

On the other hand, Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 is a stand-alone program that you install on your device. It is an older version of Adobe Reader but is still widely used. Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 also allows you to view, print, and comment on PDF documents, but it may not have all the features and updates that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC offers. Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 can also be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.

I have personally used both versions of Adobe Reader for various purposes, and I have found them to be reliable and user-friendly. Whether you choose Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Adobe Acrobat Reader 11, you can still access and view PDF documents without any cost.

Adobe Reader is still free to use. You can download either Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Adobe Acrobat Reader 11, depending on your preferences and requirements. Both versions offer basic PDF viewing and printing capabilities, with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC providing additional features for enhanced document collaboration and accessibility.
