To send a private text message on iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Messages app on your iPhone by tapping on the green speech bubble icon.
2. To start a new message, tap on the compose button located at the top right corner of the screen. It looks like a square with a pencil inside it.
3. In the “To” field, enter the phone number, contact name, or Apple ID of the recipient. You can type directly or choose a contact from your address book by tapping on the blue plus icon next to the field.
4. Once you have entered the recipient’s information, tap on the text field at the bottom of the screen to start typing your message.

If the recipient has an iPhone and iMessage is enabled, the text message will be sent as an iMessage, indicated by the blue bubble. If the recipient does not have an iPhone or iMessage is disabled, the message will be sent as a regular SMS, indicated by the green bubble.
It is important to note that the privacy of your text message also depends on the recipient’s settings and the communication method used. If both you and the recipient have iMessage enabled, the messages will be encrypted and can only be viewed by the intended recipients. However, if the recipient does not have iMessage or you are sending a regular SMS, the message may not be as secure.
