To hide someone’s posts on Instagram, follow these steps:
1. Open your Instagram app on your mobile device.
2. Tap on your profile icon, usually located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. In your profile, tap on the three stacked horizontal lines at the top right corner of the screen. This will open the menu options.
4. Scroll down the menu and tap on “Settings.”
5. In the Settings menu, select “Privacy.”
6. Under the Privacy tab, you will find the “Account Privacy” option. Tap on it.
7. In the Account Privacy settings, toggle on the “Private Account” option. This will make your account private, meaning only approved followers can see your posts.
8. To prevent someone from following you or seeing your posts, you will need to block them. To do this, go back to your profile and tap on the search icon (magnifying glass) at the bottom of the screen.
9. In the search bar, type the username of the person you want to block.
10. Once you find their profile, tap on it to open it.
11. Tap on the three dots at the top right corner of their profile.
12. From the options that appear, select “Block.”
13. Confirm the action by tapping on “Block” again.
By following these steps, you have made your account private and blocked the person whose posts you want to hide. They will no longer be able to see your posts or interact with your account.
