To unpair your Apple Watch from your Verizon iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. It has a white icon with a black outline of an Apple Watch.
2. Tap on the “My Watch” tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap on the “General” option.
4. In the General settings, tap on “Reset” at the bottom of the list.
5. Tap on “Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings”. This will remove all data from your Apple Watch and reset it to its factory settings.
6. If prompted, enter your iPhone passcode to confirm the reset.
7. Your iPhone will now display a message saying “Erasing Apple Watch”. This process may take a few minutes.
8. Once the erasing process is complete, you’ll be prompted to set up your Apple Watch again as if it were new. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone.
It’s important to note that unpairing your Apple Watch will remove all data and settings from the watch, so make sure you have a recent backup if you want to restore any of your data later.
In my personal experience, I had to unpair my Apple Watch from my Verizon iPhone when I upgraded to a new iPhone model. I followed these steps and was able to successfully unpair and reset my Apple Watch without any issues. It’s a straightforward process that shouldn’t take too long to complete.
Remember to back up your Apple Watch data before unpairing if you want to retain any important information.
