How do I unhide accounts in Mint?

Answered by Ricardo McCardle

To unhide accounts in Mint, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Mint account by visiting mint.com and entering your login credentials.
2. Once logged in, you will see the main dashboard or Overview page.
3. Look for the top menu bar and click on “Settings.” It is typically located towards the right-hand side of the screen.
4. After clicking on Settings, a new page will open with several options in the left sidebar.
5. Scroll down the sidebar and find the “Overview Features” option. Click on it to expand the menu.
6. Within the Overview Features menu, you will see a list of cards representing different financial accounts or features.
7. Locate the card that corresponds to the account you wish to unhide. Each card will have a checkbox labeled “Show on Overview” next to it.
8. By default, hidden accounts will have the checkbox unchecked. To unhide the account, simply check the “Show on Overview” checkbox next to the respective card.
9. Once you have checked the checkbox, the account card will be visible on your Overview page again.
10. Repeat the process for any other accounts you want to unhide.

It’s worth mentioning that hiding an account will remove it from the Overview page but will not delete the account or any associated data. Unhiding an account will bring it back to the Overview page, allowing you to easily track and manage its transactions.

I personally find this feature helpful when I want to focus on specific accounts or reduce clutter on my Overview page. For example, if I have multiple credit cards but only want to monitor a few, I can hide the ones I don’t frequently use. Then, if I decide to start using one of those hidden credit cards again, I can easily unhide it using the steps mentioned above.

Remember, Mint is a flexible and customizable financial management tool, allowing you to personalize your experience based on your preferences and financial goals.
