To make your SoundCloud private, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your SoundCloud account using your username and password.
2. Once you’re logged in, go to the track that you want to change to private. You can do this by either searching for the track or accessing it from your profile or playlist.
3. When you’re on the track’s page, you’ll see several options and buttons. Look for the “Edit” option, which is usually located near the track title or in a menu dropdown.
4. Click on the “Edit” option, and a new page will open with the track’s settings.
5. On the settings page, scroll down until you find the “Basic Info” section. Here, you’ll see various options related to your track’s privacy and visibility.
6. Look for the “Visibility” or “Privacy” option within the “Basic Info” section. It may be presented as a dropdown menu or as a set of radio buttons.
7. Choose the option that says “Private” or something similar. This will ensure that only you can access and listen to the track.
8. After selecting the “Private” option, make sure to save your changes by clicking on the “Save” or “Update” button at the bottom of the page. This will update the track’s settings and make it private.
Once you’ve completed these steps, the track you selected will be set to private, meaning it will not be visible or accessible to anyone else except you. You can always change the privacy settings back to public or adjust them as needed in the future.
It’s important to note that making a track private on SoundCloud doesn’t automatically remove it from any playlists or collaborations it may be a part of. You’ll need to manually remove it from those if you want to completely restrict access to the track.
