To get your voicemail transcripts, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the Phone app on your device. This app is usually represented by a phone icon.
2. At the bottom of the screen, you should see different options, such as “Recents,” “Contacts,” and “Keypad.” Tap on the “Dialpad” option, which is usually represented by a keypad icon.
3. Once you are on the dialpad screen, locate the number “1” and touch and hold it. This action will dial your voicemail service. Alternatively, you can also dial the specific voicemail number provided by your service provider.
4. After dialing the voicemail number, you will be prompted to enter your voicemail password or PIN. This is usually a combination of numbers or a password you previously set up.
5. Once you have successfully logged in to your voicemail, you will hear your voicemail messages. If you want to access the transcripts, proceed to the next step.
6. In the Phone app, tap the “More options” icon, which is represented by three vertical dots. This icon is usually located in the top-right corner of the screen.
7. From the drop-down menu, select “Settings.”
8. In the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the “Voicemail” option and tap on it.
9. Inside the Voicemail settings, you should see an option called “Voicemail transcription.” Toggle this option to turn it on. This feature allows your voicemail messages to be automatically transcribed into text form.
10. Once you have enabled voicemail transcription, the next time you receive a voicemail, it will not only be available as an audio message but also as a text transcription. You can access this transcription by opening the voicemail message in your voicemail app.
It’s important to note that voicemail transcription may not be available on all devices or with all service providers. Additionally, the accuracy of the transcriptions may vary depending on factors such as audio quality and background noise.
