To get your DEEBOT to charge, there are a few simple steps you can follow. First, make sure the Charging Dock is plugged into a power outlet and placed in an easily accessible location. The Charging Dock should be placed against a wall with at least 3 feet of clearance on either side and 6 feet of clearance in front of it.
Next, ensure that the DEEBOT is turned on. You can do this by pressing the power button located on the top of the DEEBOT or by using the power button in the ECOVACS App. Once the DEEBOT is powered on, it will start cleaning or be in standby mode.
If the DEEBOT is not already on the Charging Dock, you can manually guide it onto the dock by gently pushing it towards the dock until the charging pins on the bottom of the DEEBOT make contact with the charging contacts on the dock. The DEEBOT should then start charging automatically.
Alternatively, you can also send the DEEBOT back to the Charging Dock remotely using the ECOVACS App. Simply open the app, select your DEEBOT, and press the “Return to Charger Mode” button on the main screen. The DEEBOT will then navigate its way back to the Charging Dock and start charging.
It’s worth noting that DEEBOT also has a smart charging feature. When the battery power gets low during a cleaning session, DEEBOT will automatically switch to “Return to Charger Mode” and make its way back to the Charging Dock to recharge itself. This ensures that DEEBOT is always ready for the next cleaning session without the need for manual intervention.
In my personal experience, I have found that placing the Charging Dock in a central location in my home allows the DEEBOT to easily find its way back for charging. I also make sure to keep the area around the Charging Dock clear of any obstacles to ensure uninterrupted charging.
