To enable Instagram Live on your Android or iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Instagram app on your device and tap on your profile picture located in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will take you to your profile page.
2. Once you’re on your profile page, look for the gear icon in the top right corner and tap on it. This will open the Settings menu.
3. In the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the “Privacy” option. Tap on it to proceed.
4. Within the Privacy settings, you’ll see a list of different options. Look for the “Live” option and tap on it.
5. By tapping on “Live,” you’ll be taken to the live video settings screen. Here, you can manage who can see and comment on your live videos. You can choose between options like “Everyone,” “People You Follow,” and “Off” for comments.
6. When you’re ready to start a live video, simply tap on the camera icon located in the top left corner of your Instagram feed. This will open the Stories camera.
7. On the bottom menu of the Stories camera, you’ll see different options like “Live,” “Normal,” “Boomerang,” etc. Swipe left until you reach the “Live” option and tap on it.
8. After tapping on “Live,” you’ll have the option to add a title for your live video. You can also choose to enable or disable the comments during the live video by tapping on the gear icon located on the left side of the screen.
9. Once you’re satisfied with the settings, tap on the “Start Live Video” button to begin broadcasting. Your followers will be notified that you’re live, and they can join the broadcast by tapping on your profile picture at the top of their feed.
10. During the live video, you can interact with your viewers by reading and responding to their comments. You can also see the number of viewers at the top right corner of the screen.
11. When you’re ready to end the live video, simply tap on the “End” button located in the top right corner of the screen. You’ll then have the option to save the video to your camera roll or discard it.
