Does Hartland Glen have a driving range?

Answered by Randy McIntyre

Hartland Glen does have a driving range as part of its practice facility. As an avid golfer myself, I can attest to the importance of having a dedicated space to work on your swing and improve your overall game. The driving range at Hartland Glen offers golfers the opportunity to practice hitting balls with each club in their bag.

One of the key features of our driving range is the use of real grass tees. This provides a more authentic experience and allows golfers to practice from the same conditions they would face on the course. Hitting off real grass can also help golfers develop a better feel for their shots and make more accurate adjustments to their swing.

In addition to the real grass tees, our driving range also offers a variety of target greens at different distances. This allows golfers to work on their accuracy and distance control with each club. By aiming for specific targets, golfers can simulate on-course situations and build confidence in their ability to hit precise shots.

Another valuable feature of our practice facility is the practice bunker. This is a dedicated area where golfers can work on their sand shots and improve their ability to get out of greenside bunkers. The practice bunker at Hartland Glen is equipped with a target green, allowing golfers to practice hitting shots that land softly and stop close to the hole.

In addition to the driving range and practice bunker, we also have two putting/chipping greens. These greens provide the opportunity to work on the often overlooked but crucial aspects of the game – putting and chipping. Golfers can practice their short game skills, including reading greens, judging distance, and developing touch around the greens.

The practice facility at Hartland Glen is designed to cater to golfers of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player aiming to fine-tune your skills, our driving range, practice bunker, and putting/chipping greens provide the perfect environment to work on all aspects of your game.

I personally have spent countless hours at the driving range at Hartland Glen, honing my swing and improving my consistency. The ability to hit off real grass tees and practice with a variety of targets has been instrumental in helping me develop a more reliable and accurate swing.

Furthermore, the practice bunker has been a game-changer for me. I used to struggle with greenside bunker shots, but the opportunity to practice in a dedicated area with a target green has significantly improved my confidence and proficiency in this area of my game.

Hartland Glen has a fantastic driving range as part of its practice facility. The real grass tees, target greens, practice bunker, and putting/chipping greens provide a comprehensive and effective space for golfers to work on their game. Whether you’re looking to improve your long game, sharpen your short game skills, or both, our practice facility is the perfect place to do so.
