Does Fuzzy Zoeller own a golf course?

Answered by Douglas Hiatt

Fuzzy Zoeller does indeed own and operate two golf courses in Southern Indiana, just outside the Louisville area. I had the opportunity to visit both of these courses recently, and I must say, they are both fantastic.

The first course is called Covered Bridge Golf Club. Nestled in the scenic countryside of Sellersburg, Indiana, Covered Bridge offers a challenging yet enjoyable round of golf. The course features 18 beautifully designed holes, each with its own unique layout and character. As I played through the course, I couldn’t help but admire the meticulous attention to detail in the course design. From the strategically placed bunkers to the undulating greens, every aspect of the course seemed to be carefully thought out.

One of the things that stood out to me about Covered Bridge Golf Club was the pristine condition of the course. The fairways were lush and well-maintained, providing a perfect surface for hitting crisp iron shots. The greens, too, were immaculate, rolling true and fast. It was evident that Fuzzy Zoeller and his team take great pride in keeping the course in top-notch shape.

The second course owned by Fuzzy Zoeller is Champions Pointe Golf Club. Located in Henryville, Indiana, Champions Pointe offers a slightly different golfing experience compared to Covered Bridge. This course has a more links-style feel, with wide fairways and strategic bunkering. The layout of the course takes advantage of the natural landscape, incorporating water features and rolling terrain to create a visually stunning and challenging round of golf.

During my round at Champions Pointe, I was particularly impressed by the variety of holes. Each hole presented a different challenge, requiring careful shot selection and course management. The course also offers multiple sets of tees, allowing golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the course. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or a beginner, Champions Pointe provides a fair and enjoyable test of golf.

In addition to the outstanding golf courses, both Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe offer excellent practice facilities. Each facility features a driving range, putting green, and chipping area, allowing golfers to fine-tune their skills before heading out onto the course. The pro shops at both courses are well-stocked with a wide selection of golf equipment and apparel, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I was extremely impressed with the golf courses owned by Fuzzy Zoeller in Southern Indiana. Both Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe offer a high-quality golfing experience in a beautiful setting. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to the area, I highly recommend checking out these courses if you have the opportunity. Fuzzy Zoeller’s passion for the game of golf is evident in every aspect of these courses, and they are a true testament to his love for the sport.
