You can save Ring videos to your computer. To do this, you will need to access Ring’s website and log in to your account. Once you are logged in, follow these steps:
1. Go to the “History” section: Look for the “History” tab or option on the website. It is usually located in the main menu or navigation bar.
2. Manage your videos: Once you are in the History section, you will see a list of all the recorded videos from your Ring devices. Look for the option to “Manage” or “Select” videos.
3. Select the videos you want to save: In the Manage section, you will be able to select the videos you want to save to your computer. Typically, you can choose up to 20 videos at a time. You can either manually select the videos or use the select all option if you want to save all the videos.
4. Download the videos: After selecting the videos, look for the option to “Download” or “Save” them. Click on this option, and Ring will start compressing and zipping all the selected videos together.
5. Wait for the download to complete: Depending on the number and size of the videos, it may take some time for Ring to compress and zip them. Once the process is complete, a download link will be provided.
6. Save the zip file to your computer: Click on the download link, and the zip file containing all the selected videos will be downloaded to your computer. Choose a location on your computer where you want to save the file.
7. Extract the videos: Once the zip file is downloaded, locate it on your computer and extract its contents. You can do this by right-clicking on the file and selecting the “Extract” or “Extract All” option. Choose a destination folder where you want to save the extracted videos.
Now, you have successfully saved the Ring videos to your computer. You can access and watch these videos anytime, even if they are no longer available on your Ring account.
It’s worth noting that the process described above is specific to Ring’s website. If you are using the Ring app on a mobile device, the steps may vary slightly. However, most Ring apps provide options to save or share videos, so you should be able to find a similar functionality to save videos to your device.
