Unfortunately, Facebook does not provide an option to directly remove someone’s reaction or like from your post. Once someone has liked or reacted to your post, it becomes a part of the post’s engagement and cannot be individually removed by the post owner. This applies to both regular posts and Stories on Facebook.
However, there are a few alternatives you can consider if you want to restrict the visibility of the likes or reactions on your posts:
1. Change privacy settings: You can adjust the privacy settings of your post to limit who can see the likes and reactions. By using the audience selector tool, you can choose to make the post visible only to specific friends or a custom list. This way, even if someone has reacted to your post, others who do not have access to the post will not be able to see their reaction.
2. Delete the post or comment: If you want to completely remove the likes and reactions from a particular post or comment, you can choose to delete it. Deleting the post will remove all associated likes, reactions, and comments. However, keep in mind that this action is irreversible, and the post will be permanently removed from your timeline.
3. Hide the reactions temporarily: Another option you can consider is hiding the reactions temporarily. Facebook provides a feature to temporarily hide reactions on your posts. To do this, click on the three dots at the top right corner of your post and select “Hide Reactions.” This will hide the reactions for a specific period of time, but they will reappear eventually.
It is worth mentioning that these options may not completely remove someone’s reaction from your post, but they can help in limiting the visibility of the likes and reactions to a certain extent.
