Augustus Rookwood is a character from the Harry Potter series of books and films. He was a Slytherin student and an Unspeakable for the Department of Mysteries. He was knwn to be one of the most powerful Death Eaters, loyal to Lord Voldemort, and fought in many battles during the Second Wizarding War.

Rookwood was born in 1928 or earlier, and attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he became a member of Slytherin House. After graduating Hogwarts, he was accepted as an Unspeakable for the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic. During his time working there, he gained notoriety as one of Lord Voldemort’s most powerful Death Eaters.

After this battle, Rookwood was imprisoned, but managed to escape in 1997. The Fate of Augustus Rookwood After the Battle of Hogwarts

After the Battle of Hogwarts, Augustus Rookwood was arrested and taken into custody by Aurors. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban for his involvement in Voldemort’s attempt to overthrow the Ministry of Magic. Bartemius “Barty” Crouch, Jr. was one of Lord Voldemort’s most loyal followers in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. He was born to Bartemius Crouch Sr., a powerful Ministry of Magic official, and his wife, who died when Barty was young. Barty was a gifted wizard, being accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at a younger age than usual and displaying remarkable magical skill from a young age.

The Weakest Death Eater in Harry Potter

Rabastan Lestrange is arguably the weakest Death Eater in Harry Potter. He was one of the tree Lestrange brothers who were released from Azkaban Prison by Lord Voldemort during The Order of the Phoenix. Rabastan was present at all the major battles during this time, but he proved to be no match for Harry Potter in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, as he was easily stunned by him. In addition, it is also rumored that Rabastan is less powerful than his brother Rodolphus and sister-in-law Bellatrix, both of whom are considered to be some of the most powerful Death Eaters.

It is unknown which Death Eater killed Hedwig in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. While there is a popular fan theory that Snape killed her, this has never been confirmed in the books. It is possible that another Death Eater may have been responsible for her death, but this has not been revealed. Therefore, unfortunately, it remains a mystery as to which Death Eater killed Hedwig.

Comparing the Evilness of Voldemort and Bellatrix

It is difficult to definitively assess which of Voldemort and Bellatrix was more evil, as they both committed acts that culd be considered heinous and malevolent. Voldemort was certainly responsible for a great deal of destruction and death in his attempt to take control of the Wizarding World, but he delegated the majority of his worst atrocities to his followers. It is fair to say that Bellatrix was one of the most passionate and dedicated Death Eaters, willing to go above and beyond for her master. She killed Sirius Black, tortured Neville Longbottom’s parents, and seemed to relish in the destruction she caused. Moreover, her devotion to Voldemort was so extreme that it bordered on an unhealthy obsession. Thus, it can be argued that Bellatrix was even more evil than Voldemort himself.
