What Are Ankylosaurus Good For In Ark?

Ankylosaurus is one of the most iconic dinosaurs that has ever existed. This four-legged armored herbivore roamed the Earth during the Cretaceous period, approximately 66 million to 145 million years ago. The Ankylosaurus was a member of the ankylosaurid family and was a medium-sized dinosaur that measured up to 6 meters in length and weighed around 4 tons.

Ankylosaurus was heavily armored with thick plates of bone embedded in its skin and reinforced by spikes, horns and bony clubs on its tail, head, neck and shoulders. This armor provided protection from predators such as Tyrannosaurus Rex and other large predators. Its tail club was strong enough to crush bone so it could be used as a weapon against any attacker.

Ankylosaurus lived in what is now North America, particularly in the Western United States and Canada. It fed mainly on plants such as ferns, leaves, fruits, nuts and shrubs that grew at the time. It also ate insects, small animals and even carrion when available. The Ankylosaurus had a long neck which allowed it to reach higher into trees for food or browse for vegetation on the ground.

In Ark: Survival Evolved players can find Ankylosaurs living in various parts of the map. They are usually found near mountains or other high ground areas where they can find food easily. Ankylosaurs are usually passive unless provoked or attacked by players or other creatures so they can be tamed relatively easily if you have enough patience and resources. Once tamed they make an excellent mount due to their strong armor which allows them to take more damage than other mounts while still being able to move quickly when needed.

Taming an Ankylosaurus takes quite some time but once you do you will have one of the strongest mounts at your disposal that can carry large loads with ease while being able to traverse treacherous terrain without much difficulty due to its powerful armor plating making it one of the best all-around mounts in Ark: Survival Evolved!
