To delete your PlayStation account, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Settings menu on your PS4. You can access this by scrolling to the right on the home screen and selecting the toolbox icon.
2. In the Settings menu, scroll down and select “Login Settings” from the drop-down options.
3. On the Login Settings page, choose “User Management.”
4. In the User Management menu, select “Delete User.”
5. A list of users on your PS4 will appear on the next screen. Select the user account that you want to delete.
6. Confirm your decision to delete the account by selecting “Delete” when prompted.
It’s important to note that deleting a user account on your PS4 will also delete all associated data and game progress for that account. Therefore, make sure to back up any important data or game saves before proceeding with the deletion.
Deleting your PlayStation account will not cancel any subscriptions or remove any purchases made under that account. If you want to cancel any subscriptions or request a refund, you’ll need to contact PlayStation Support directly.
Additionally, deleting your PlayStation account on your PS4 will not delete your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. Your PSN account will still exist and can be used on other devices or consoles. If you want to completely delete your PSN account, you’ll need to do so through the PlayStation website or by contacting PlayStation Support.
Remember to carefully consider the consequences of deleting your PlayStation account, as it cannot be undone. If you’re unsure, it may be helpful to reach out to PlayStation Support for guidance or assistance.
