Can Twitch streamers see who follows them?

Answered by Robert Flynn

As of now, Twitch streamers do not have the ability to see exactly who follows them on the platform. While streamers can see the number of followers they have, they cannot access a comprehensive list of their followers or view individual follower profiles on their own. This applies to both the desktop version of Twitch and the Twitch mobile app.

On the Twitch dashboard, streamers can see their follower count prominently displayed, which gives them an idea of their overall following. However, this information is limited to just the number and does not provide any specific details about who those followers are.

In the past, Twitch did have a feature called “The Fan List,” which allowed streamers to see their followers. This feature was removed in 2017, and since then, Twitch has not provided any official way for streamers to view their follower list.

Even on the Twitch mobile app, which streamers often use to manage their channels on the go, there is no option to view the list of followers. The app only displays the number of followers a streamer has, and if they want to see the specific followers, they would need to visit their Twitch profile on a desktop browser.

It’s worth mentioning that there are some third-party tools and websites that claim to provide follower analytics for Twitch streamers. However, these tools are not officially supported by Twitch, and their accuracy and reliability can vary. Additionally, using third-party tools may raise privacy concerns and is not recommended by Twitch.

While Twitch streamers can see the number of followers they have, they cannot see a detailed list of their followers or view individual follower profiles on the platform itself. This limitation applies to both the desktop version of Twitch and the official Twitch mobile app.
