Well, let me tell you about my personal experience with Crimson Agates and the Crimson Wish feature in Genshin Impact. As an avid player, I’ve spent quite a bit of time exploring the beautiful world of Teyvat and collecting all sorts of resources.
Crimson Agates are a special type of collectible in Genshin Impact that can be found in Dragonspine, the snowy region introduced in version 1.2 of the game. These agates are used to level up the Frostbearing Tree, a unique feature that provides various rewards as you progress.
Now, when it comes to obtaining Crimson Agates, there are a few different methods. You can find them scattered throughout Dragonspine by exploring the area and completing various challenges. Some are hidden in hard-to-reach places, while others are rewarded for completing quests or defeating certain enemies.
Initially, the Frostbearing Tree starts at Level 1, and you can collect up to 10 Crimson Agates to level it up to Level 2. Each subsequent level requires a specific number of agates, and you can check your progress and claim rewards at the tree itself.
However, here’s where the Crimson Wish feature comes into play. Once you reach Level 8 of the Frostbearing Tree, you unlock the ability to make Crimson Wishes. These wishes allow you to obtain additional Crimson Agates by completing specific challenges.
You can make a total of 5 Crimson Wishes per week, and each wish rewards you with 1 Crimson Agate. So, if you diligently complete these challenges every week, you can obtain an additional 5 Crimson Agates for your collection.
But here’s the catch: once you reach Level 12 of the Frostbearing Tree, the Crimson Wish feature becomes permanently unavailable. This means that you won’t be able to obtain any more Crimson Agates through this method.
However, it’s worth noting that you can still continue to explore Dragonspine and find Crimson Agates naturally in the environment even after reaching Level 12 of the Frostbearing Tree. This means that you can technically obtain as many Crimson Agates as you want, as long as you haven’t maxed out the tree yet.
Without using the Crimson Wish feature, players can obtain as many Crimson Agates as desired as long as the Frostbearing Tree is not raised to Level 12. So, go ahead and explore Dragonspine to your heart’s content and collect those agates!
