To trim a video on my Samsung phone, I follow these steps:
1. Launch the Gallery app: I open the app by tapping on its icon on my phone’s home screen or app drawer.
2. Select the video to edit: I browse through my video gallery and tap on the specific video that I want to trim.
3. Tap on Edit: Once I have selected the video, I look for the edit option, usually represented by a pencil or edit icon, and tap on it.
4. Select Trim: After entering the editing mode, I search for the trim option, which may be represented by a scissors or crop icon. I tap on it to start trimming the video.
5. Begin trimming the video: When the trim tool is activated, I see a timeline at the bottom of the screen, showing the duration of the video. I can drag the handles on either side of the timeline to adjust the start and end points of the video. By doing so, I can trim off the unwanted parts and keep only the desired portion.
6. Save the trimmed video: Once I am satisfied with the trimmed video, I look for the save or apply button, usually located in the top or bottom right corner of the screen. I tap on it to save the changes I have made.
If I don’t need to make any further edits to the video, I can simply tap on the save button and the trimmed video will be saved as a separate file, leaving the original video intact.
By following these steps, I can easily trim videos on my Samsung phone to suit my preferences and remove any unnecessary parts. It’s a quick and convenient way to edit videos directly on my device without the need for additional software or apps.
